Why this blog & other questions!

I'm a newly-wed military wife. Let's be honest, I was never very "fashion forward". Until about a year ago, when I was quickly approaching the time in my life when I could declare myself in my "mid-20s", I realized that I wasn't dressing for my age. I was still caught up in dressing as a teenager because it was comfortable and safe. That just wasn't going to fly anymore! Enter becoming a military wife, when it REALLY hit me that I needed an wardrobe update! Seeing all these other wives look so chic and classy, I had to make a change!

Over the past few months I've been revamping my closet and throwing out drugstore make-up and I feel great! I still have a long way to go, but I'd like to share my journey with you. And hopefully other 20-somethings can learn with me on the do's and don'ts of how to Dress For Your 20s.

For the time being, I choose to keep my actual name and pictures of my face off my blog. The reasoning for this is due to negative attention from some very inappropriate people who follow my mom & friends on Twitter and her blog. They have deemed it their personal mission to bully, destroy, harass, and stalk any supporter of Kate Gosselin. I do support Kate 100%, like my mother, however this blog is not about Kate. It is strictly about fashion and style and being a 20-something girl. :)
