I love this facial cleanser!

During one of my trips to Sephora, I asked the sales employee what she suggested as a good facial cleanser. Without a beat, she grabbed me a 3oz bottle of Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (try for only $10!) and told me that this stuff was one of their all time best sellers. I was pretty excited to try it due to the simple fact that I love the Philosophy - Hope in Jar facial moisturizer

The second I got home, I went to wash my face. I didn't have to use hardly any (maybe a dime-sized drop) to fully cleanse my face. It cleaned off all my makeup without any effort. After one wash, my skin was softer and smoother. It doesn't dry my skin out one bit! Love it. And using it along side the Hope In A Jar, my face is in its best condition yet!

I've been using this wash twice daily for two weeks, and I'm not even down half way into my little 3oz bottle.

The only thing I haven't seen it have much effect on is stubborn acne. Although it seems to prevent new ones from forming, it really isn't taking car of older ones. I may still have to find a spot treatment to get rid of the few pre-existing bumps on my chin. But, not a problem!

All in all, this is the BEST facial cleanser I've ever tried. Definitely worth investing in!

Note: Another thing the salewoman at Sephora told me, they like to water down Purity Made Simple and use it to wash their brushes in. I will definitely give this a try when it comes brush-washin' time.

Happy Stylin'!

  1. Minny convinced mom here to try this as I was using whatever. My Italian heritage gave me oily skin which I've always fought. Even in my mid late 50's still have to watch what products I use as everything for mature skin is all about moisture, moisture, moisture. Which just over loads my skin.

Sadly, people don't understand too much moisturizing can be just as damaging as too much.

But this seems to be a good balance even on my older skin. Have used it for about 3 days and already my face is starting to feel better.

  2. * correction: too much moisturizer can be just as damaging as too little.
